Responsible for the continuous running of building equipment and machinery. Perform preventative maintenance throughout the property such as mechanical, electrical, painting, carpentry and plumbing. Performs corrective maintenance, monitoring, and repairs, including documentation, on assigned equipment or systems to ensure it operates in a safe, timely, effective and efficient manner. Dealing with emergency and unplanned problems and repairs.
Design and conception of implementation plans with technical details using computer-aided design (CAD). Selecting the type and size of equipment to be installed in site according to the characteristics required. Answering all technical Query from site in Construction. Attend technical meetings with client and with the consultant. planning and coordinating with the design phases of HVAC engineering work. Preparation of technical documents for tenders.
Perform building heating and cooling load calculations. Design of duct and piping systems. Analysis and selection of HVAC and plumbing equipment. Prepare and develop designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings. Work within a project team environment, interfacing and communicating with other design team members. Interface with clients and attend meetings.
Produce detailed, works schedules, resources and projects plans. Manage the day to day site activities.
In addition to being an energy engineer, I like to spend most of my time developing energy saving solutions through smart technology. During the warmer months, I like to practice the bike-ball.
